Seafood Restaurant
Lochleven Seafood Cafe and Shop
Sitting on the terrace on a warm summers day, looking at the Pap of Glencoe and Loch Leven, with a plate of langoustines or mussels and a glass of Albarino is an experience many have already enthused over. The restaurant has been designed to achieve an informal, relaxed atmosphere with simple café style furniture. The walls have sculptures made by artist Heather Cumming from Keltneyburn Smithy, near Aberfeldy, which she designed on the theme of the sea and fishing. This includes a quote from George Mackay Brown “ And how the lobsters put on their hard blue coats in summer” etched on to the large wave forms. We hope you can make it to our great seafood restaurant in Glencoe and look forward to meeting you soon !

Crannog Seafood Restaurant
Situated in the heart of Fort William, Crannog is a seafood restaurant like no other – in a quiet loch-side location on the Town Pier, the distinctive red roofs have been synonymous with fantastic West Highland seafood and relaxed fine dining for over 20 years. Using the freshest fish and seafood from the local area, a meal at Crannog is a must on any visit to the area. For those who prefer meat or vegetarian options, you’ll find a range of perfect dishes, including seasonal dishes, such as our winter favourite, duo of local venison. Special diets welcome; please let us know when you call to book on 01397 705589.  Based on an ancient self-sufficient island fishing community, the name ‘Crannog’ was chosen by west coast fisherman Finlay Finlayson to symbolise his concept of catching, curing and cooking the finest west coast seafood. Finlay realised his dream when he converted his bait shed on Fort William’s Town Pier into the stunning red-roofed restaurant. The building itself has a long history, including its use as a lookout point during WWII. Today the restaurant is renowned for its quality, style and attention to detail. Crannog Restaurant is open 7 days a week Lunches are served from 12pm until 2.30pm and evening meals from 6pm. Book now by using the enquiry form below.
