Registrar of Births and Marriages

The Registrar of Birth and Marriages operates from the town centre to perform civil marriages in Fort William. So, if you plant to get married in Fort William or any part of Lochaber, The Registrar is the first person to contact when you begin to plan your marriage. In Scotland you can get married outside or in a building of your choice, provided the owners agree and that the Registrar is prepared to perform a civil ceremony.
