Red deer rut

From the end of September and throughout October Red deer stags compete to mate with groups of hinds in one of the highlights of the wildlife calendar. Wild West run twice daily trips throughout the rut to view this spectacle. The first trip leaves from Invergarry village hall around sunrise to catch the best of the action, the other is in the afternoon.
