Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team 'Rescue Day' & 'Rescue Ceilidh'

On Saturday 8th October from 1-5pm we will be hosting a 'Rescue Day' aiming to raise funds for the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team.  It will be a fun packed day with lots to keep the whole family entertained! The event will be held at the base station here at Nevis Range where there will be a whole host of exciting events taking place from - team vehicles & stretchers, Gondola evacuations, search and rescue dog demos (SARDA), meet and greet with the (SARDA) dogs, meet the rescue team, technical ropes demos, first aid area, BASP and bandages, rope area for knots, meet the Nevis Range Ski Patrollers, fun transceiver area & demos plus lots more...... Then from 730-11pm there will be a 'Rescue Ceilidh' from a local live band here in the Pinemarten cafe bar tickets are available from Nevis Range for a £5 donation, call to book 01397 705825. The Pinemarten cafe bar at the gondola base station, will be open all day & evening for coffees, cakes & snacks, lunch 12-3pm & stovies from 4-8pm. There will also be an online auction from Monday 3rd October offering some fantastic prizes money just cannot buy so why not come along and give your support plus have a great day out!
