Jordan's journey to the top

Jordan Reid should be just like most five year olds: happy, lively, and living his life to the fullest. But, in June 2016, just one month after his second birthday, and after six months of trips to his GP for what appeared to be a virus, Jordan was diagnosed with Childhood Central Nervous System Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumour (AT/RT cancer). In simple terms, Jordan had brain cancer. He was immediately admitted for surgery to remove the tumour and underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but, because of the late diagnosis, Jordan’s cancer is now classified as terminal. The Jordan Reid Childhood Brain & Cancer Trust was setup by Jordan’s grandparents, with the aim of improving awareness of childhood ATRT cancer and raising funds towards: Helping further research into ATRT cancer, The local cancer ward at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Jordan’s Bucket List Fund, in order to give him the best life possible.
