Would
you like to have fun raising some money for your charity or community
group at the Christmas Gathering?
The Alexandra Hotel have generously given us their dining room for the evening and we are holding a Games Fair. This exciting and unique event is being organized by Fort William Town Team and Lochaber Chamber of Commerce.
Each charity or group will be given a table to decorate and on which to run their game. You can make up your own themed game, but to make it easy we have a list of 20 Christmas themed games to choose from. You could run a ‘Bauble Bobbing’ stall, or what about a spot of ‘Snowball Scavenging’, or invite folk to have a go at ‘Plucking a Turkey’, or even trying to ‘Knock Santa down the Chimney’.
To make the event more of a fundraiser, you can bring along charity cards and small gifts to sell on your stall too.
We hope it’ll be a really enjoyable and entertaining way to raise money for your charity or group.
And there are prizes too, the Chamber of Commerce are offering a donation of £200 to the best dressed stall. The Alex will award a meal for two to the best fancy dressed stall holders.
The stalls are free and are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. So, if you’d like to know more about the games or to reserve your table, please get in touch with Jackie Clifford at [email protected]
