Bats and Moths at Glencoe

To celebrate National Moth Night 2014 join us at the Visitor Centre to have a look what flying creatures are about while we sleep. We’ll go out on Thursday night to see bats emerging from their roosts listening to them with Bat detectors. Moths will be flying too and will hopefully be attracted to our harmless light trap allowing us to get some up close views. We’ll return in the morning to see what exciting moths have been caught in the light traps.

Join us for both the evening and morning or just the once! There will be some crafts in the morning too for children. Wear warm clothes and it is advisable to bring midge repellent, midge net, torch and sunglasses.
